At Moon & Mouse, my art reflects my love of the moon, nature, and animals. Through my illustrations and mixed media pieces, I strive to capture the magical and whimsical feelings that these themes evoke. My love of the moon and its phases serves as a prominent source of inspiration in my original art.

I have been working on a series of illustrations based on the phases of the moon and the changes these bring.  For millennia, humans have used the movement of the moon to keep track of the passing year and set schedules for hunting, planting, and harvesting. Ancient cultures the world over have given these full moons names based on the behaviour of the plants, animals, or weather during that month, and I have based my recent artwork around these.
